But if you’re not sure where to start, consult our Private Travel Concierge, Nadine. She’s an in-the-know Capetonian with insights into both the city’s popular attractions and hidden locales, and makes it her business to find out what’s new in town.

Relax and Unwind

With wondrous Table Mountain and its National Park as a backdrop, against stretches of gold sand met by cerulean ocean, and a laid back and cosmopolitan atmosphere, we highly recommend taking some time to relax and become part of the scene.

Chill Out

Camps Bay is our closest beach and a Blue Flag beauty. While most people can only brave a quick dip in the chilly, but ever-so-inviting-looking water, this coastal setting is worth hanging around. The powdery shore invites long walks, or is a soft spot to lay down your towel and put your feet up. Feeling a bit peckish after your bracing swim and hours of sunbathing? There’s a strip of buzzy seaside eateries and bars just across the street.

Park Up

If leafy parks are more your scene, take a walk through the nearby Company’s Garden – the oldest in South Africa. A little further out, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, set against the eastern slope of Table Mountain, is considered among the most beautiful in the world. Ask us about our picnic baskets to take along. Otherwise, both grounds have lovely restaurants hosting breakfasts and lunches. And if you do find yourself out into the golden hours, afternoon tea at Kirstenbosch Tea Garden is a must.

More Quarters offers a complimentary, shared shuttle service on a first-come, first-served basis within 6km (4mi) of the hotel
